Illustration Friday: Tribute

Using Flickr as my inspiration I found an photo from Jeroen Stel - Red Deer Cervus elaphus. And combining this with my love of the The Endless Forest, I produced a stag wearing candles which I thought fitted the ‘tribute’ theme.

Big colours, bold lines and even bigger gulls here at oddkness! The gulls started eating me alive since moving to Birchington, so I thought I’d just rip out my heart and throw it to them. I now dedicate my main art practice to herring gulls.
