Steven Bindernagel

Steven Bindernagel uses inspiration from architecture, environmental textures and atmospheres to produce his beautiful abstract watercolour, acrylic and pencil Yupo paintings. He explains that the constant exploration through his mediums is what gives him the joy to keep making his artwork.

Big colours, bold lines and even bigger gulls here at oddkness! The gulls started eating me alive since moving to Birchington, so I thought I’d just rip out my heart and throw it to them. I now dedicate my main art practice to herring gulls.
